Profile of Admitted Transfer Students
Fall 2009
When we review transfer applicants, we look at a wide variety of factors, some more easily quantifiable than others.
Beyond being UC-Eligible (which almost all of our applicants are anyway) there is no specific cutoff value assigned to
any of the factors we consider.

Notes
- "International" refers to any applicant who is or will be in the U.S. solely for educational purposes. It is worth
noting that the overwhelming majority of international transfer applicants to UCLA are attending California
community colleges at the time they apply. - "Limited/EAP" (Education Abroad Program) refers to foreign exchange students who attend UCLA for one or
more terms before returning to their home institutions to complete their degrees. Admission decisions have
not yet been made for this population. - "Withdrawn" refers to applicants who voluntarily withdraw their applications from consideration.
