When you live on the Hill, our residential community, you can swap stories and ideas over a meal with roommates, classmates, faculty-in-residence and people you may not meet any other way.

Students who live in our on-campus residential community get to know students from every major and walk of life and make connections that can last a lifetime.

John Wooden Center offers everything from basketball, volleyball and squash to a gymnastics gymnasium, fitness studio, dance and martial arts, personal trainers and a rock-climbing wall.

Students who settle in at the residence halls can easily get together with friends and classmates in their rooms, at cafes and dining halls, outdoors and in the many study lounges nearby.

Even when they’re doing laundry, which is conveniently located in every residence hall, Bruins find time to have fun, share ideas and connect with friends.

Students who use the Study at Hedrick, the Hill’s new mixed-use environment, love the space’s high-tech discussion rooms, comfy lounge seating, ample windows and cozy fireplace.

At Rendezvous, a counter-serve cafe, students can get together to catch up or work while enjoying burritos, tacos and enchiladas, including vegetarian options.

Feast at Rieber is one of the only university residential restaurants in the nation that specializes completely in Pan-Asian cuisine.

Bruin Plate features locally sourced produce and meats, sustainable seafood, unprocessed and preservative-free items, organic food and expanded vegetarian and vegan options.

Flavors from the Mediterranean serve as the inspiration for the earthy and aromatic offerings at Epicuria at Covel, another residential restaurant on the Hill.

Students flock to Bruin Cafe, a quick-service spot that’s open late, for specialty coffee and ice-blended drinks, smoothies, pastries, soups, salads, sandwiches and wraps.
