The Watts Towers are the work of Simon Rodia, a construction worker by day, artist by night. He spent 34 years building his mortar-covered-steel masterpiece using just simple tools.

One of many iconic old cinemas in L.A., the Bruin Theatre opened in Westwood on New Year’s Eve in 1937. It was designated a Los Angeles Historic-Cultural Monument in 1988.

Bus and Metro Service

Easily go from campus to museums, nightlife, restaurants, downtown and even the beach via Metro bus and rail lines, Santa Monica’s Big Blue Bus and Culver City Bus, all at a reduced rate for students.

Campus Shuttles

Take advantage of free BruinBus shuttles to get around campus and Westwood anytime you want. On Saturdays, shuttles run from the Hill to the Promenade in Santa Monica, where you can shop, eat, see a movie or walk to the beach.

Rideshare Services

If you’re in need of door-to-door service, catch rides from Uber, Lyft, taxis and any other rideshare services at designated on-campus passenger pick-up zones.
