Major Preparation Requirements
- One course in microeconomics
- One course in macroeconomics
- One year of calculus (from the math/physical science sequence)
- One course in introduction to financial accounting
- One course in introduction to managerial accounting
Students are STRONGLY ENCOURAGED to complete all preparatory courses by the end of fall prior to transfer.
Note:
- Demand for this major significantly exceeds space available
- You must be admitted as Pre-Bus Econ or Pre-Econ to pursue the major
- You will not be able to change into this major after admission to UCLA
- You will not be eligible to declare Business Economics as a double major
