Transfer Preparation Requirements — Business Economics*

• One course in microeconomics
• One course in macroeconomics
• One year of calculus (from the math/physical science sequence)
• One course in introduction to financial accounting
• One course in introduction to managerial accounting

Students are strongly recommended to complete all preparatory courses by the end of the fall prior to transfer.

• Demand for this major significantly exceeds space available
• You must be admitted as Pre-Bus Econ or Pre-Econ to pursue the major
• You must be directly admitted in to this major and cannot change into this major after admission to UCLA.
• Students may not add this major as a second major once enrolled at UCLA.
