Bryce Trevino
Community College: Cerritos College
Major: Political Science
Year: 2nd-Year Transfer
Pronouns: he/him/his
Born and raised in Southern California, I proudly attended and transferred from Cerritos College with my associate degree in Political Science. During my time there, I served as the Chief Justice of the Associated Student Government. Additionally, as president of the Speech and Debate team, I competed in numerous speech and debate events on the local, state and national levels.
At UCLA, I spent my first year here working with the Transfer Student Center. Currently, I am the Director of Advocacy for the Bruin Policy Institute and the Transfer Liaison for the Undergraduate Students Association (USAC) External Vice President Access and Retention team. In my free time, I love hanging out with my friends, going on road trips and spontaneously buying concert tickets.
As a STOMP Coordinator, my goal is to center the spaces I’m in around uplifting transfer voices and empowering communities. As a proud transfer student, I aim to balance continued efforts to foster a community for transfers here at UCLA with STOMP while also helping community college students pursue their academic dreams, hopefully, here at UCLA. I hope that STOMP can be a space for anyone seeking a place of inclusivity and open arms.
